It’s already the end of the second decade of the 2000s! (Well ACKSHULLY some people would say that won’t be til 2021, but let’s just go with it.) What were some of the biggest cultural changes of the last 10 years? (I’ll limit myself to 5 to keep the list concise.)

2017, What a Year
Apparently the most exciting thing that happened to me in 2017 was the light fixture update, and I had nothing else to report after that.

As usual though, I can’t believe 2017 has flown by so quickly. It’s already December 31st (stating the obvious) and tomorrow it will be 2018 (…and again).
Do-It-Myself: Light Fixture Upgrade
New year, new light fixtures! Or so I thought. I bought new fixtures for the apartment, but the dining room one seemed a little bit…plain. I’d never really considered myself a DIY kinda person before (at least, not for real life things…) but I thought there was a chance I could do something to spruce them up. Here is the journey:
