The Grand Canyon and Beyond: a Pictorial Odyssey

Recently I went on a 3-day trip with my family through the American Southwest, from the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley to Antelope Canyon. I don’t think I had been on a family trip with them since I graduated college so I guess it was overdue. But this time I decided to bring a special companion. Without further ado, a pictorial odyssey:

So there you have it! Honestly people must have thought I was crazy throwing this book around everywhere, haha. I took pictures of this book the way other people were taking selfies. But I will say the hardest part, and what I’m proud of, is that I managed to make it seem like it was just me and the book, out there in the wilderness. In reality, SO MANY PEOPLE. And so many tripods! Everyone these days is a camera enthusiast. During sunrise at the Grand Canyon, I had to literally tunnel myself out of a pile of tripods that set up right behind me (as I had claimed a prime spot…to take pictures of my book…with my cameraphone…which wasn’t even an iPhone…man they must have been mad haha. GOOD.). But I suppose it is good to just get a breath of fresh air once in a while. And have a study session in the Grand Canyon. You know. Nbd.
