A design for my freeware design resource site. The inspiration clearly was Windows Media Player; I created the design (save the large color image in the banner, if that wasn’t apparent) from the pen, select, and gradient tools in Photoshop. Then I inserted some dynamic elements: a random image rotation, a navigation menu that displayed your current position. In the end I even made a different version of the layout, with whites and pinks (at right). The site itself was in PHP and used MySQL for the db.
